This oral history talks about Lisa's experience growing up in Denver, as well as what life what like in the 1970s and 1980s for trans women. This story includes stories of active sex work as well as histories of violence against transgender women. However, it offers insight into the work, dignity, and survival of transwomen over the course of the 20th and 21st centuries.
